After two weeks of performances, she got praise from the audience. The play was deemed the top production in Canada by the critics. The opportunity was presented to her to be a part of the Stratford Conservatory. It accepts only eight men as well as four female students to take a course in classical theatre. Contractor was eager to accept. Her place in the upcoming production was secured, and she was offered the part of Hermia.
